The idea of reincarnation exists in the world of Naruto and becomes a significant plot point. It was revealed in the story that Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha were the reincarnations of Asura and Indra, respectively. This pattern was followed in the previous generation, with Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju also being the reincarnations of Asura and Indra.

The discord between the contrasting personalities was something engraved in destiny. However, we saw Naruto putting an end to the ongoing fight between the two lines of the reincarnated brothers. However, Boruto might also be playing with the concept of reincarnation, perhaps something on a much deeper level with a new form.

The majority of the community has accepted an intriguing theory about Boruto Uzumaki and Shibai Otsutsuki. The story revolves around the possibility that young Uzumaki is a reincarnation of the Otsutsuki God.

It was said that Shibai Otsutsuki ascended to his Godhood through a meticulous process that stretched over several millennia. It involved him eating various Chakra Fruits and repeatedly resurrecting himself using Karma. This allowed Shibai to perform Shinjutsu which is a technique in which ninjutsu is considered to be a mere shadow.

It was often described as pure magic and did not require hand seals to execute. Daemon and Eida display various abilities thanks to the Shibai Otsutsuki cells they possess. The Otsutsuki God himself is capable of creating storms, which are fundamentally wind-based phenomena.

Boruto was exiled from Konoha, and during this period, he came up with an entirely new variation of Rasengan called the Rasengan Uzuhiko. He can simply execute this wind-based jutsu without the need to perform hand seals.

The reason behind this theory connecting Boruto with Shibai Otsutsuki is the fact that both of them possess the unique dojutsu Jougan.

As Boruto transforms into Borushiki, we’ve seen his horn show a striking resemblance to Shibai Otsutsuki. The fact that it doesn’t portray Momoshiki despite the fact that it is the latter who is inside of him. This is quite different from other characters like Kawaki or Jigen, whose horns resemble those of Isshiki Otsutsuki.

The more intriguing fact is that Boruto’s singular horn develops on the right side, which is the same direction as the eye which possesses Jougan. Since the existence of Jougan is highly controversial, several fans refuse to accept that the dojutsu is canon, and any theories based on it are easily dismissed.
