Well, not directly, but as Cooper was spotted dressed in DeGeneres’ branded underwear, the actor was criticized for his choice of clothing.
Bradley Cooper Succeeded in Being Sober for 20 Years
Venturing into the glitz and glam of Hollywood with his early roles in Wet Hot American Summer, Alias, and Wedding Crashers, Bradley Cooper soon became a household name. But unfortunately, despite his glorious fame, the actor ended up having some wild years during his initial Hollywood days.
According to Men’s Health, while participating in an episode of the National Geographic series Running Wild With Bear Grylls: The Challenge in 2023, Bradley Cooper opened up about his addiction to drugs and alcohol. Claiming to have had some crazy stories in terms of his addiction, Cooper noted his difficulties in finding fame. But eventually, at the age of 29, the actor began his journey to sobriety.
“[Wild years] In terms of alcohol and drugs, yeah. But nothing to do with fame, though. But I was lucky. I got sober at 29 years old, and I’ve been sober for 19 years. I’ve been very lucky.”
As of 2024, the actor has managed to maintain his sobriety for two consecutive decades. It is indeed a big achievement for Bradley Cooper. But unfortunately, fans don’t seem to care about his journey to sobriety, for all they are concerned about is his underwear.
Bradley Cooper Trolled for His Choice of Underwear
While it might sound bizarre, the Hollywood A-lister who has been nominated for the Oscars for his performance in Maestro is currently getting trolled for his underwear. Ignoring his years of commitment, riveting performance, acclaimed projects, and even his decades-long sobriety, fans are simply focused on Cooper’s choice of undergarment.
It all started after the rumored couple Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid were spotted together in New York City. While the model was spotted in classy winter clothing, during the chilly, rainy weather, Cooper might have been a little too comfortable in his choice of attire. According to Men’s Journal, Bradley Cooper was spotted wearing the branded boxers from Ellen DeGeneres. The waistband that was visible had the Ellen logo on it.
