In 2023, the actress starred in the role of Elizabeth Zott who joins a cooking show on TV and teaches the woman more than cooking! Being based on the novel of the same name by Bonnie Garmus, the series is a historical drama and Brie Larson was mesmerized by it. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the actress talked about how “immersive” it was.

“It gets a little confusing though. For me there was one moment where I had to just like lay on the floor and go like ‘I’m actually in downtown Los Angeles. My name is Brie Larson. It is 2023. It is not whatever’ cause I started to get confused”

She further continued,

“Because it’s so immersive in that way where everybody’s dressed so differently. There’s nothing about it so you feel really transported (in a good way) but then when you’re in a sound stage all day, I think it gets a little confusing”

With a high rating of 8.5/10 on IMDB and an equally awesome rating of 85% on Rotten Tomatoes, Brie Larson’s Lessons in Chemistry has received rave reviews. On the other hand, her character of Captain Marvel hasn’t been received with a warm welcome and that’s why, Larson’s not too happy about her MCU role.

In another interview with Entertainment Tonight, Larson revealed that,

“I don’t want Marvel to come for me, but there is something. There is definitely something to answer your question that I would want to say, but I am not going to do so.”
