Britney Spears had a fitting reply to Justin Timberlake’s recent comment at a concert.

Timberlake echoed the viral quote by UFC fighter Conor McGregor following a public showdown with his competitor Eddie Alvarez after the latter demanded an apology from him for his comments. The Friends with Benefits star in a quote that appeared on Page Six, seemed to make a telling reference to Spears just before singing Cry Me A River.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize, to absolutely f***ing nobody.”

The Hit Me Baby One More Time singer has proved that she is not one to back down from a spat. Without using any names, Spears took to Instagram  (via EW) to give a brutal reply to Timberlake’s comment and made her stance extremely clear.

Looking at the way that things are going down with both celebrities, it seems that Elton John and Blue were speaking the truth when they sang ‘Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word’ all those years ago!

“Lawyers demanded to see her book in advance and were adamant that some of the revelations were removed. There are still plenty of gobsmacking tales but Justin and Colin were conscious about what could be said about”.

The source further stated that all the issues regarding the memoir were settled, with both Farrell and Timberlake satisfied with the final outcome. The Woman in Me had its official release on the 24th of October, 2023, and has expectedly created quite a few talking points since then.
