The game is all set to take back the gamers to the Gulf War. Many rumors about the game have come forward over the past few weeks and fans are positive that the game has the potential of being one of the best Call of Duty games of all time.

Insider Gaming has revealed that Raven Software is developing the campaign for Call of Duty‘s upcoming game, Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War. As per rumors, this game will feature an open world that the player and their squad can explore. Players will also be able to use vehicles and a fast travel system to navigate around the map. There is a catch, however, as there will still be some linear elements to the missions.

The game is all set to release in October 2024 and will see the return of some Black Ops characters including Adler. This will be the sixth game in the Black Ops franchise and many believe that this could revive the Call of Duty franchise. Although the franchise is one of the biggest first-person video game franchises in the world, its recent entries have been quite disappointing so fans hope that Black Ops Cold War brings back the real Call of Duty.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War will just lay down the foundation as Activision has big plans for the future of the franchise. Call of Duty 2025, which is yet to have a leading developer, is also rumored to feature an open world. Certainly, this major change to the franchise will attract a lot of gamers.
