Call of Duty is one of the most popular action shooters right now, if not the most popular. Be it the zombie mode, the exciting battle royale arena of Warzone, or the story mode of Campaigns, there is no scarcity of players at all. However, this might not be the right time to play COD for some days.
If you have spent a huge amount of money on your Call of Duty account and don’t want to lose your favorite collection of skins and all, you might not want to play the game for some time. Because you might get perma-banned, even without doing anything.
Call of Duty is Perma Banning Left, Right and Centre Right Now
In a recent tweet, famous Call of Duty insider Forward claimed that the game is permanently banning accounts for no reason. Whilst this is no doubt an exaggeration on his part, there is a wave of permabans right now, and some are reportedly being criticized by the players as unfair, unjust, and in some cases, completely incorrect. That’s why he has requested everyone not play COD for some days so some can avoid any unnecessary trouble.
Don’t play CoD right now
Genuinely, EVERYONE is getting perma banned at the moment

Although it’s not like you can’t play the game at all, if you are playing right now, you might be risking your highly precious game profile.
Forward has also stated that this risk persists on all platforms. The major risk is for PC players, but he is not sure if console players are free from it. There is also no surety on which game mode you can get banned; it can be zombies, warzones, or even multiplayer.
What is the Reason for all The Bans?
This can happen due to a glitch in Richochet, the anti-cheat system in the game. The reason for this hasn’t yet been addressed by Activision Blizzard, but the insider thinks we will see an official update soon. He has also advised you to submit an appeal for now if you are one of the victims of this strange ban spree.
However, it’s less likely to get your account banned, as several players got their accounts banned in this way, and in return, they got some generic responses from the company.
They won’t do anything you’ll get a generic ass response and no support

Call of Duty has always had a special place in its players’ hearts. We hope it pays heed to this situation and comes up with some solutions, as well as giving the accounts back to the banned players.
This is the most recent in a long list of recent issues and controversies surrounding the game, especially where cheating is concerned. Whilst Activision Blizzard want us to focus on the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War, or the somewhat flop of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, most fans can’t get passed the current issues going on.
