Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is getting the highly-anticipated mid-season Season 2 Reloaded update with brand-new content for players. The upcoming Season 2 Reloaded launches on March 6, 2024, and brings new limited-time game modes, maps, Zombies missions, weapons, and more.
Season 2 Reloaded is also bringing a multiplayer remastered map, and the popular Das Haus map from 2021’s COD: Vanguard is making a comeback, featuring several changes, and it seems like it could be one of the best maps that the multiplayer fans have been getting in years.
Das Haus MP Map Is Coming Back in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
Das Haus is one of the fan-favorite maps in COD Vanguard. The map takes place in a mock West Wing where players train for the invasion of the White House and features indoor combat within a mock West Wing. The map is now returning in Modern Warfare 3 with a brand-new look.
The map in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 moves from the indoor combat of the training facility to the top of a skyscraper “in the vicinity of Highrise,” and it can also be spotted from spawn points with its new vibrant look but comes with its original layout that is in Vanguard.
Das Haus is a 6v6 map where the Orange Side will go against the Blue Side in a symmetrical layout divided into three lanes. There are several areas on the map, such as Central Pillars, the Workshop, Operations, and Training Room. Players will be able to spawn in four sections of these areas.
Fans are excited to go against the opponents in Das Haus. Das Haus is one of the best maps that multiplayer fans have gotten in years, and when Sledgehammer revealed that the map would be coming back, players were thrilled. But many are not happy with the changes in the map.
Fans Are Divided Over Das Haus Map in Modern Warfare 3
Many Modern Warfare 3 players have said that Season 2 Reloaded’s Das Haus map is very similar to Counter Strike‘s Vertigo map. Vertigo is also a popular map among Counter-Strike players and is available in Counter-Strike, CS: GO, and the newly released Counter-Strike 2.
Vertigo too takes place on an under-construction skyscraper, and fans think the MW3 developers have taken too much inspiration from it. Many also added that there was no need for the changes in the already better map, and the port of the original map would have been much more nice.
Some players have also said that the upcoming map is nothing like the Vanguard map. However, players are hopeful that the map will live up to the chaotic fun that they had on the original and can’t wait to spawn when the map releases on March 6. The mid-season update will also have two new game modes, Bounty and Juggermosh, along with the Das Haus remastered map.
