When Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was released, it was a revolution in first-person shooter given the graphics and gameplay. Among the three games in the series, it still stands as the best. Though it was launched for both PlayStation and Xbox, the former appears to be a better consort for the game. It can be a nerve-wracking experience for anyone who bought a game that takes 48 hours of experiments just to install the game. Unfortunately, that is one true story for a user who had to work finger to the bone to install Modern Warfare campaign on Xbox.
At Least This Call of Duty Won’t Disappoint The Player
A frustrated user dubbed ‘ricioly’ took to Reddit to share his experience with the game when the user tried installing it on the console. The catch in the story is it took over 48 hours alongside a few headaches until the game was finally installed. “This better be the best game I’ll ever play, the user wrote. However, there won’t be any disappointment given that it doesn’t feature open-combat missions.
Ricioly literally shared a guide as to how to get past the issue, and if anyone is going through the same should follow exactly as the guide reads. Moreover, the Redditor also expressed his anger by saying, “They’re selling this game at full price in the Microsoft store in my region. Full f*cking price. Good day, and good luck.”
But the Redditor isn’t the one annoyed with the game. From technical glitches to cheaters, players are going mad over the convoluted ways they have to play Call of Duty nowadays. However, not everyone’s frustrated with the glitches or maintenance that may affect the matchmaking criteria.
Xbox Game Pass May Just Be The Fix CoD Needs After All
Last year, Microsoft acquired Call of Duty publisher Activision Blizzard in a nearly $70 Billion deal. Given that Xbox Game Pass is central to their gaming division, it is unclear why they hadn’t brought the popular first-person shooter to the subscription service. It may solve the several issues persisting in CoD, beginning with what we just discussed in the story.
Moreover, players will get to revisit past CoD games. Given that many issues in those games have been resolved over the years, it would probably be a fun ride for players. However, as the franchise has evolved greatly, they may well go for whatever’s next in the line.
