Usually, the new seasons do not overhaul the game; instead, they provide new themes, cosmetics, and other tertiary changes. But from the looks of it, Call of Duty: MW3 Zombies is set for a complete overhaul. With the introduction of new modes and game variants, the game could have something entirely different in store for its players.

A Call of Duty player took to X to post a screenshot of a supposed leak that showed that with Season 3, the game could introduce a new PvPvE mode. While nothing is confirmed as of yet, there is a lot to look forward to for players.

Quite understandably, not all fans were huge fans of this leak as they felt that the developers were overlooking the obvious flaws that are already prevalent in the game. One fan bluntly said, “No one asked for this” and another fan mirrored the sentiment with their short, “Please no“.

The post gained massive traction on X with over 10.5k views but fans were not at all pleased with the news. Instead, they pointed out a number of things that the developers could have done differently. One such fan posted a hopeful message saying, “Hopefully they put some DMZ style missions in it too.

While fan reaction is already against the supposed leaks, it would be interesting to see what Activision’s next step would be. With Season 3 almost upon us, fans and players are eagerly waiting for updates and confirmations regarding what to expect in the new season.

MW3 Zombies Seems to Be Following the Same Old Mold

This is Modern Warfare 3 Zombies.

Call of Duty has a distinct tried and tested method which earned them acclaim in their first games. Ever since they hardly vary from the mold and keep churning out the same content under different branding. With a number of fans disgruntled with the repetitive content, one can only hope that the developers are taking note of the negative fan reactions.

The fan-favorite health regen perk Compression Carrier is supposed to make a comeback in Season 3 which will surely assuage fans, even if a bit. The addition of Soulrender in Season 2 was also widely appreciated by fans. These have led fans to have hope for the franchise after all.

Touted to be the biggest FPS multiplayer shooter game in the world, it would be safe to assume that Activision Blizzard will try their best to make the fans happy. One can even argue that the addition of the PvPvE mode was an attempt to do just that. However, the ongoing issues regarding the game, especially the cheats and hacks in Warzone, have turned a major section of the COD community against the developers.

What do you think of the leaks? Would you want the PvPvE mode to be a reality? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
