Godzilla’s Return Is A Huge Success
Godzilla’s return is being hailed by fans and critics alike. Monarch: Legacy of Monsters brings Godzilla back on screen and it is spectacular. For the director of the show, Matt Shakman, Godzilla has been his childhood nostalgia. “I love Godzilla and I’ve Loved Godzilla since I was a kiddo,” Shakman told JoBlo Celebrity Interviews.
“I’ve watched the old Toho movies with my dad and so the chance to to be a part of the Monsterverse, uh, was incredibly exciting but then I read the first script, and what you know Chris Black and Matt Fraction have created here was just so exciting and unexpected. It is a multi-generational family drama and mystery set within in the world of monsters and we’re seeing these monsters that I love but from the ground from the human perspective and I was just taken by the freshness of it,” he added.
The show also has an incredible cast featuring Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Anders Holm, Joe Tippett, Elisa Lasowski, Kurt Russell, and his son Wyatt Russell. Of course, The Apple TV show gave a fresh take on the drama by adding the iconic monster. The action-adventure sci-fi monster show might get a nod for season 2 but for now, fans are demanding a Jurassic Park series, and why not?
Fans Demand a Jurassic Park Series
There is no doubt that a well-made Jurassic Park Series would certainly be a hit as the movie franchise has dominated the genre of sci-fi action adventure. Fans believe Universal Studios should consider the show as they have waiting for this for far too long. Fans took to social media to demand a Jurassic Park show.
There’s absolutely NO REASON why Universal doesn’t develop a live action Jurassic series. If Godzilla and company can be done so beautifully in a tv series, why can’t dinosaurs? #JurassicPark #JurassicWorld pic.twitter.com/EhfcWVwjK1

Ive been sitting on a JP limited series idea for years.

Yep I agree. It doesn’t need to be anything more than a limited series. Not asking for multiple seasons or anything like that.

It exists, and it’s on AppleTV+. Prehistoric Planet 1 & 2 beat any JP series universal could ever put out.

I’ve been begging for a new dinosaur fiction series for ages. All the documentaries are fine, but I want characters and stories. We haven’t had a true live-action paleo fiction series since Terra Nova (La Brea doesn’t have enough creatures to really count.)

Let them use Apple for the money cause that sweet sweet unlimited budget be coming in handy

There’s an avid fanbase for the genre and many have been waiting for a Dinosaur fiction show while dwelling on documentaries on the pre-historic creature. If Universal decides to make it, fans will definitely rush to the screen.
