John Wick: Chapter 4 was recently released in theatres and brought it with some of the best action sequences Hollywood has seen yet. Keanu Reeves was obviously incredible with his performance and when you add Chad Stahelski’s direction to it, fireworks happened! It’s truly phenomenal what Chad Stahelski was able to pull off in the franchise which was his directorial debut.
And now, obviously, since the world has seen what an asset Chad Stahelski is to the action genre, his phones are going to be blowing up. People are going to want him to direct a ton of movies and rightfully so! Well, as always, fans have their opinion, and a lot of them have spoken – they want Chad Stahelski to direct Sony’s new Spider-Man trilogy if it ever happens.

Fans Lobby for Chad Stahelski to Direct Spider-Man Movies
Chad Stahelski is being hailed as one of the hottest action directors of today, and why wouldn’t he be? Maybe his time as a stunt performer helped him out a bit! But after what he managed to do with the John Wick franchise, fans are super excited to see what he has up his sleeve next.
While everyone is wondering where Stahelski will be headed next, fans are putting out their own requests. One of these requests is for the John Wick director to direct the next alleged Spider-Man trilogy. As reported by insider Jeff Sneider, Tom Holland “closed a deal” for Spider-Man 4 which is untitled at the moment. He also reported that Holland’s contract includes one more Spider-Man trilogy along with about three more appearances. There are no official confirmations regarding this at the moment.
If the new trilogy happens, fans already have a director in mind. Yep, you guessed it, it’s Stahelski. Fans believe mixing Stahelski’s skills with Spidey would be one hell of a treat to the eye! Here’s what they are saying on Twitter:

Since he's directing Ghost of Tsushima which is a Sony property, this isn't that far fetched, but I think it's unlikely… BUT theoretically if it were to happen I'd be over the moon! We need more visceral action in Spider-Man films again. Been missing that since TASM & Raimi

While we can’t say for sure if a superhero film is something Stahelski would want to do, we can never say never, right? It’ll be interesting to see how he could pull it off!
Is There More to the Spider-Man Franchise?
We cannot be a hundred percent sure! But the producer of the franchise, Amy Pascal, once said that there were plans to make a fourth Spider-Man film with Holland. She added that they will be moving on to the next three films for the franchise.
“This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie. We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel. We’re thinking of this as three films and now we are going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies.”
While this sure brought a ton of hope, Sony insiders soon disregarded the entire thing and stated there were no official plans for a fourth film or a second trilogy. However, Kevin Feige later said that he, Pascal, Disney, and Sony are thinking about where Spidey’s story will go next.
On the other hand, let’s not forget that Spider-Man himself believes he has done all he could with the character. Holland told The Hollywood Reporter that while it would be sad to say goodbye to the Avenger, he believes he has “Achieved basically everything” he wanted to with the character. Needless to say, there is a lot a cloud of uncertainty surrounding the franchise!
