Being a celebrity has its pros and cons. As much as stars receive adulation and are hero-worshipped by fans, there are also times when they are caught at the wrong end of fame. Actor Charlie Sheen was a victim of a disturbing incident this week which almost saw him being seriously injured.
According to latest reports, the 58-year-old actor was attacked by a female neighbor in his Los Angeles home on Wednesday. While the Two and a Half Men star was not taken to the hospital, the attack was serious enough for paramedics to rush to the scene. TMZ broke further details about the incident.

Charlie Sheen Attacked By Female Neighbor
In a disturbing incident on Wednesday, actor Charlie Sheen was the victim of an attack in his own home. The star was confronted by a female neighbor, a 47-year-old woman who forced her way into his home after he answered her knock on the door. First reports indicate that the woman ripped the Platoon star’s shirt and tried to choke him before running back to her own home.
Paramedics were immediately called in and attempted to make sense of what happened with Sheen’s inputs. According to the actor, this was not the first incident involving him and this neighbor. Sheen revealed that the woman had earlier tried to spray some sort of sticky liquid on his car.
Though the celebrity was unaware of the assailant’s grudge against him, he attempted to patch things up with her after the incident. Not heeding his advice, she then proceeded to dump trash in front of Sheen’s house a day before the attack. The woman has now been arrested in her home and booked for assault with a deadly weapon and burglary.
Could Charlie Sheen Return To Two And A Half Men?
One of Charlie Sheen’s most successful ventures as an actor was his stint in the hit comedy series, Two and a Half Men. Playing the politically incorrect and irreverent ladies man Charlie Harper, Sheen’s performance was hugely appreciated by audiences worldwide. Unfortunately, the star struggled with various personal challenges including drug and alcohol abuse which led him to fall apart with show creator Chuck Lorre in 2011.
After being fired from the show to enter rehab for the 3rd time, Sheen went on to bitterly criticize Lorre on a public platform for replacing him with Ashton Kutcher. Years later, there seemed to be a patch-up between the two celebrities when Lorre approached Sheen once again to play a fictional version of himself in his new show, Bookie.
Jon Cryer, who played Alan Harper in the show, spoke about his openness to return for another stint in Two And a Half Men. Talking about the reconciliation between Sheen and Lorre, Cryer expressed his opinions on the possibility of his co-star also making a comeback. In an interview with ET, he said,
“I’m not going to rule anything out, but I haven’t talked to Charlie. I’m really glad they made up… I can only say for Chuck, clearly. He has the enormous relief of somebody who’s been able to rekindle a friendship that was really meaningful to him.”
With Lorre, Sheen, and Cryer having had a very successful collaboration, it remains to be seen if Sheen could, in reality, make an appearance in a possible Two and a Half Men reboot.
