As the Loki Season 2 finale came out, fans hailed the show. Rumors were there that Chris Hemsworth would reunite with Tom Hiddleston in the series somewhere. But till now that did not happen.
So, fans were enthusiastic that there would be a season 3 of Loki and we might see a potential reunion of the two. Amidst all these, head writer Eric Martin said something about any probable works on season 3 of the show.
What Does Eric Martin Say About Loki Season 3?
While talking with Cinema Blend, the show’s head writer Eric Martin said:
“We approached this as like two halves of a book. Season one, first half. Season two, we close the book on Loki and the TVA. Where it goes beyond that, I don’t know. I just wanted to tell a full and complete story across those two seasons.”
Seems the Loki series is finished in two seasons. Tom Hiddleston‘s Loki’s adventure beyond the second season is highly unlikely from Martin’s comment and if so, then the possibility of Loki and Thor reuniting will not be fulfilled.
There was a deleted scene that apparently showed a fusion of Thor and a frog called Throg (voiced by Chris Hemsworth) that was removed due to pacing issues.
Fans are Disheartened with this Update
As Eric Martin said there is minimal chance of any more opportunities to explore Loki’s involvement in the show and the current story will “close the book” on that plot, netizens have a feeling that this will not give them a chance to watch the re-union of Hemsworth and Hiddleston.
fucking stupid ass fucking decision
