“There’s naturally after six months of filming a kind of a love-hate relationship with the thing because you get headaches in that thing you know. And I kind of say to myself, “Use it”. The guy’s meant to be kind of fierce.

When you get a headache you feel fierce anyway. You got no time for anybody, you are impatient. So I just said to myself, use it, and I just put up with it you know. It’s a hell of an honor really getting to wear this.”

During an interview, Christian Bale opened up about his time with the Batman suit as it was quite difficult for him to wear it for a long time. He went on to add that he had some extreme headaches when he put on the suit and it irritated him, but it was also kind of beneficial to him, as he used this irritation to put it on his character and made him fierce. Bale also said that it was a complete honor to work alongside such a wonderful team with Christopher Nolan, one of the most accomplished directors of the 21st generation, leading them.
