Humble Bundle, as many gamers would know, is an online store that sells video games, books, and more, with part of the proceeds going to charity and the rest being distributed amongst the game developers. Several games across genres go on sale, where customers pick how much to pay, and they get a proportionate portion of the game, such as just the base game or added DLC and other content.

Developed by Colossal Order and published by Paradox Interactive, the popular city-building game Cities: Skylines is one of the latest titles to go on sale. The game is known for being a city creation simulator with all the ups and downs of creating and maintaining a real city. The sequel, Cities: Skylines 2, will be released on October 24th this year. But before that, there’s a chance to grab the original game on sale from Humble Bundle!

As mentioned above, Cities: Skylines offers players a city-building and management simulation, the process of which is easy to learn but hard to master. Players take control of a mayor presiding over a city, and during the game they have to deal with the various factors of running a city, such as education, water, electricity, police, firefighting, and healthcare, not to mention a fully functional city economy.

Apart from this, citizens living in the city react to the decisions players make. There is also a detailed mechanic for local traffic simulation, as well as a day and night cycle that impacts a lot of things, ranging from citizen schedules to traffic in certain zoned areas. Traffic, for instance, is slower, while some zoned areas don’t work as efficiently as they would during the daytime.

Furthermore, the game contains substantial modding support as well, allowing players to create and work upon already existing maps and structures. These creations can then be transported into the game and shared online. Players can also download creations made by other players.
