Fans of Conor McGregor immediately recognized why the move was a trauma for the Irishman. One particular fan took to the Instagram post and pointed out how Conor McGregor has PTSD from the move.

”Conor has PTSD from this move! 😂 😂 😂 And he remains my favourite all time.”

The move is traumatic for Conor McGregor because of his rivalry with Khabib Nurmagomedov. Khabib Nurmagomedov faced off against The Notorious One at UFC 229, which saw The Eagle tapping out Conor McGregor and winning in a decisive fashion, as he used the rear naked choke submission hold.

“I was just in awe of it all, to be honest with you, the whole process.”

He admitted to uncertainty about how he would adapt to acting, considering himself primarily a fighter rather than an actor. However, McGregor found the experience to be incredibly rewarding.

“I didn’t know how I was going to take to it. I didn’t know whether I was going to like it, to be honest. I’m a fighting man – that’s my bread and butter. It’s where I come from… I’m not an actor, but I’m show business. That was my vibe to it. I felt that. I enjoyed every second of it.”

In another instance, Conor McGregor adopted a straightforward approach regarding the release of the movie. Speaking to Total Film, he expressed his preference for a theatrical release, stating,

“I’d love for it to be in theaters. I’m for the theater. I understand the business, also … I’d love a call with [Amazon founder Jeff] Bezos.”

However, the film director recently announced his decision to boycott the movie’s world premiere at the South by Southwest Film & TV Festival on March 8. This decision stems from the studio’s choice to release the film directly on the streaming platform without a theatrical run. As a result, Road House will be globally available on Prime Video on March 21.
