Dakota Johnson Takes A Dig At Donald Trump
Making her recent appearance in SNL, the actress appeared alongside Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon. Since the actress had already hosted SNL back in 2015, she decided to go down memory lane with some clips from that year.
Dakota Johnson pulled up a photo from 2015 and was standing with an audience behind her. Among the audience were Sarah Palin, George Lucas, and, Steven Spielberg to name a few. The clip was shared on the internet with Johnson making her entrance on Saturday Night Live with cheers and applause. The actress decided to take a dig at Donald Trump while praising Taylor Swift as the most powerful person in America.
“Look at this collection of people: Sarah Palin, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, and look who’s sitting right behind me [the camera zooms in on Donald Trump]”
She further continued,
“It’s just crazy to be standing so close to someone who would become the most powerful person in America [the camera quickly pans to Taylor Swift]”
The audience laughed at the cheeky dig at Donald Trump and Saturday Night Live continued with the audience and the event continued as usual. In a separate interview, the actress talked about her experience filming Madame Web and how she found some aspects challenging.
Dakota Johnson Had Problems Filming With CGI
Starring in the upcoming movie, Dakota Johnson portrayed the role of Madame Web. Portraying the titular character, Johnson revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that shooting some of the scenes was absolutely psychotic.
“I’ve never really done a movie where you are on a blue screen, and there’s fake explosions going off, and someone’s going, ‘Explosion!’ and you act like there’s an explosion. That to me was absolutely psychotic. I was like, I don’t know if this is going to be good at all! I hope that I did an OK job.”
People are already hyped up for the upcoming movie which stars an ensemble cast of Sydney Sweeney, Isabel Merced, Adam Scott, and several others. The film is set for a release date of 16 February 2024 in theaters across the U.S.
