Radcliffe later opened up about it and called it “weird” during an interview with Access Hollywood. He shared, “The kiss was… fine,” before adding, “It was slightly weird at first.” He further stated that although it was not the first time he filmed a kissing scene, it felt weird kissing someone he knew growing up.

“It was one of those things where it was slightly odd at first because I’ve known Bonnie since she was 9, and I was 11,” he shared. However, he went along with it after a few takes. And he was not alone, as his co-star, Bonnie Wright, also shared the same sentiment during several interviews.
