Journalists play a significant part in the lore of Daredevil, so fans can expect that Walton will make an important contribution to the upcoming series. The project is expected to be her biggest break in a massive franchise, though she has already appeared in a Disney Channel show and a couple of Netflix series.

Production for the series reboot received a positive update after D’Onofrio previously confirmed to Comic Book:

We’re days away from restarting Daredevil, so that’s we’re about to plunge into a lot of work. We’re shooting in New York, in the studio, and on locations here. Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Chelsea. Stuff like that.”

The actor also expressed his satisfaction with the script, and that he talks to Cox every day. He also acknowledged the fact that they call it Season One instead of Season Four, so it feels like a brand new job. Still, the show is not disregarding the connection of events from the Netflix franchise.

What Can Fans Expect From Daredevil: Born Again?

The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen might be back in his game, but Charlie Cox hinted that the series might not be as gruesome as what fans enjoyed before. He shared via NME that the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again will share some similarities with the original show, but because this is under Disney+, there might be some changes.

My opinion is this character works best when he’s geared towards a slightly more mature audience. My instinct is that on Disney+ it will be dark, but it probably won’t be as gory.”

He already expects that fans will anticipate some sort of continuity from the previous installment, but the actor hopes that they will welcome the new era of Daredevil.

I would say to those people, we’ve done that. Let’s take the things that really worked, but can we broaden? Can we appeal to a slightly younger audience without losing what we’ve learned about what works?

Daredevil: Born Again is one of the biggest and highly anticipated projects from Marvel Studios. The series is set to premiere on Disney+ in 2025 with 18 episodes.
