However, before Dave Bautista made it big in the WWE, he used to work as a bouncer in a club. In an easy-to-understand tutorial by Matt Arroyo, a former MMA fighter, he explains how one can protect themselves against a big bouncer while explaining how he body-slammed the actor effortlessly on the floor.

Recently, Dave Bautista was featured alongside Matt Arroyo, a former MMA expert, in one of his Instagram reels, where he gave an easy-to-understand on protecting yourself from a big bouncer. During the tutorial, he said, “Dave used to be a bouncer,” back in the day and he will show us how to protect himself from tall and big bouncers like him.
While explaining the tutorial, he explained that when a bouncer grabs you by the neck from behind, we need to make sure the choke is not our neck and drop the base to get him off balance. He repeats the step, adding if the stranger is as big as the My Spy actor we need to bend and lift our hips and he effortlessly slams the 289 lbs actor on the ground.
The comments on the post were positive as fans of Arroyo and Bautista praised how the content was helpful to them. A fan comments how the former MMA fighter has got himself a good training partner.

When the Guardians of the Galaxy left professional wrestling, he decided to join BJJ and started practicing it before he made his professional MMA debut in 2012. He won the first fight by TKO in the very first round, while he has not appeared in MMA fights anymore, he decided to continue working on his BJJ. Due to his hectic career, he had spent a few years away from the mat, but he is one of the handful of professional wrestlers who have managed to climb this far in the BJJ ranks.

Despite his career, he is making active efforts to continue working on his BJJ has now been promoted to brown belt in the sport by Matheus Andre and Josh Raff under Cesar Gracie. The news of his promotion was shared by Bautista on his Instagram when she shared a post, with a warm caption, expressing his gratitude to his BJJ friends and the organization, that has helped him to enjoy the title.
