Many X-Files fans thought that Duchovny would take Anderson as a guest star since they had a se*ual tension as Mulder and Scully.
Gillian Anderson Would Do Californication For Free
David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson rose to fame after their series The X-Files. The show was a huge success. At X-Files charity fan event in Los Angeles, Anderson jokingly asked Duchovny why he had not taken her in his show Californication.
The actor quipped, “We can’t afford you.”
“I’d do it for free,” she said.
After The X-Files ended David Duchovny went on to star in other TV shows like Californication and Aquarius. Anderson has also appeared in a variety of films and television shows, including Hannibal, The Fall, and Sex Education.
