While nothing has been confirmed yet about whether there would be a movie or not, rumors have been floating around for a long time and perhaps David Harbour could finally get to be the Link he was ‘born to be’ after his feat in Gran Turismo.

David Harbour Finds Gran Turismo Very Relatable

Gran Turismo is an inspirational tale

Gran Turismo is a real-life story of how Jann Mardenborough became a real racer through participating in the Nissan-sponsored GT academy. But his path was riddled with challenges, the biggest came from his parent’s skepticism about his choice of career. It was something that even the acclaimed actor David Harbour went on during his early years as an actor.

In the interview with Fandom Wire, he remarked,

“I was in the same position. Acting as a profession is not something that I think parents jump for joy that their child is going to go into… My parents had no understanding of it… They were very skeptical and wanted me to just get a job… And I was dead set on this thing and I think so, I’m very much related to Jann and Jann’s father.”

And it isn’t Harbour who finds the movie relatable, for despite being a ‘video-game’ movie, it serves as an inspiring reminder to everyone that anything is achievable as long as you try your best.

Gran Turismo is in theatres now.
