Palworld came with everything they had, and they really made an impression. Pocketpair games have broken records on Steam; this very similar Pokémon title has fans and players hypnotized with its mechanics and gameplay.
But the Pokémon Company and Nintendo will remain silent. A very important day for the Pocket Monsters is coming. Pikachu and company have the opportunity to prove why they have stayed on top all this time. Pokémon Day is very close, and we can expect much news from this world.
The Palworld community will be watching
Part of the incredible success of Palworld, with a strong roadmap and much content ahead. Pokémon is a franchise with more than 25 years of shattering records in sales with every new entry in the main saga.
The first Pokémon was launched back in 1996 and changed the industry forever. Fans are loyal, and the next generation of trainers has been buying every new entry in the franchise without hesitating. Last year, The Pokémon Company and Gamefreak launched DLC for the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games.
Since the celebration of the 20th Pokémon Anniversary back in 2016, February 27th has been known as Official Pokémon Day. The Pokémon Company has been doing a stream with updates and news, announcing new games and other stuff. Some Pokémon days have been better than others.
For the moment, there is no rumor or confirmed stream for Pokémon Day. But fans are excited about this day and are expecting several announcements from the Pokémon franchise in all its forms: a movie, anime, new DLC, or, why not, a new mythical Pokémon to be revealed?
The remake is also a possibility
Past Pokémon Day celebrations have already confirmed new Pokémon in the main series of games, like Pokémon Sword and Shield and Scarlet and Violet. To this list, we can add Pokémon Legends: Arceus and many more. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet were launched in 2022, so it is not so radical to think that a new Pokémon game is coming, perhaps not from the main series but from another franchise like Let’s Go or Legends.
The last Pokémon remake of the main series of games was Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl back in 2021. Players and critics did not receive this game well; the chibi style did not evoke a happy response.
So it is possible that we can receive the announcement of a remake of Pokémon Black and White, which was originally launched back in 2010. Some fans have said that these games are some of the best in the franchise.
