DC Comics created one of its greatest superheroes, Batman, who has been revered and protected by his die-hard fans for years. For any discussion that involves the Caped Crusader, the fans have to be there. Likewise, a recent social media post that featured a scene from the 1998 hit cartoon show, The Powerpuff Girls left Batman fans in a stir.
The American cartoon show itself boasts of its distinct fanbase. Yet, none can beat the protectors of Batman. A particular scene from The Powerpuff Girls claimed that superpowers are not bought, but are rather innate. However, an opposing character hints at Batman and his superpowers, diffusing the debate. Consequently, fans rushed to the scene and flooded the comments section with defensive remarks.

The Powerpuff Girls Instigate a Powerful Discussion
Batman is one of those superheroes who are more human-like than godly ones such as Superman or Thor. The hero is a night-time crime fighter and during the day, he is Bruce Wayne, a wealthy brat who pretends to not care about Gotham City. In the end, fans relate more to Batman than other superheroes because Wayne is a complex character, like humans.
The post on Twitter depicted a scene where the three Powerpuff Girls are lined up, debating against a girl about their superpowers. The Powerpuff Girls claimed that they were born with superpowers and that they could not be bought. The snippet concluded with the opposing girl refuting their claim that superpowers can’t be bought and remarks,
“Tell that to Batman”
Moreover, the caption of the post agreed with the girl’s suggestion, deeming her somewhat correct. It read,
“I mean, she ain’t wrong.”

The post surely rolled into the right group of fans. The comments section actively defended Batman, under a myriad of connotations. From sensible and inspirational ones to hilarious and sarcastic comments.
Batman Fans Safeguard Their Hero
While there might be some truth to the fact that Batman has superpowers because he is rich, fans’ have a different perspective. For instance, in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, the scene when Bruce Wayne meets Barry Allen lowkey proves the fact. Allen enquires about Batman’s superpowers once again and Wayne responds saying he is rich. Tell that to the DC fans! Nevertheless, the majority of fans compared that Iron Man is the one who might have bought his superpowers, whereas, Batman has simply earned it.

This debate can go on, with an infinite set of perspectives. However, one explicit thing is that Batman is loved. He is a hero to the fans not because of his superpowers but because of his disciplined and fighter persona. There’s no debate about that. Although, were the Powerpuff Girls correct? That is up to your interpretation.
