Deadpool is one of the most well-known and notorious characters in the entirety of the Marvel ethos, whether it be in games, movies, or comic books. The Merc with a Mouth found success in comics and games, but it took him until 2016 to finally become a success on the Silver Screen, with Deadpool (2016).
Now, 8 years later, fans are going to be treated to Deadpool 3. On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, Deadpool 3 has released a special poster to celebrate Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s dynamic duo friendship in the film.
Deadpool (2016) starred Ryan Reynolds as the titular antihero, who had a penchant for chimichangas and mayhem. It almost immediately catapulted Reynolds to the top of Hollywood and redeemed him, considering the fact that he also portrayed Deadpool in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which was hated by fans and critics alike.
Deadpool 3 Dropped New Valentine’s Day Poster To Celebrate Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s Friendship
Deadpool 3 has a ton of hype behind it considering it’s the first film since 2017’s Logan to have Hugh Jackman back as Wolverine. Lots of behind-the-scenes photos and the latest trailer have built up a considerable amount of hype for the film.
On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, Deadpool 3 released a new poster which showed Deadpool and Wolverine making a heart sign with their hands, to show off their bromance.

Wolverine also had his claw out for good measure in the poster. Nonetheless, fans are extremely excited about the film. We will have to wait and see how the movie will turn out in the end once it drops this year.
Hugh Jackman Trained Very Hard For His Return As Wolverine In Deadpool 3
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman revealed to the public back in 2022 that Wade Wilson and Wolverine would reconnect in Deadpool 3 following their last effort – X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which was panned and hated by everyone.
While speaking on Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?, Hugh Jackman talked about his debut in the MCU as the iconic Wolverine character and how he was going to train very hard for the role so that he was ready for it.
“I’ve learned you can’t rush it. I’ve learned that it takes time,” he said about the physical transformation. “So we have six months from when I finish [The Music Man] to when I started filming. And I’m not doing any other work. I’m going to be with my family and train. That’s going to be my job for six months.
He added:
And I’m really fit right now. There’s one thing that about eight shows a week being on Broadway singing and dancing is I’m fit. So I’m healthy. I have a good place to start. And apologies chickens. Run a mile. Start running now because I’m coming for you.”
The highly anticipated film is set to release on 26 July this year, so we will have to wait and see whether it will finally help the MCU regain its lost momentum. After all, there is little doubt that the MCU really needs a big win, as soon as possible.
