While filmmakers previously confirmed X-Men cameos in the upcoming movie, it has been recently reported that Deadpool 3 is set to follow a multiversal storyline. Fans thus speculate a carbon copy of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
MCU’s Phase 4, 5, 6 – Multiverse Saga And Deadpool 3
With the culmination of the Infinity saga, MCU transitioned into phase 4, welcoming the Multiverse saga, and the infinite possibilities associated with it. From Loki to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, various Phase 4 releases from MCU confirmed their experiment with chronologies and different plotlines.
Laying out confusing rules of the MCU’s multiverse, the studio began strictly focusing on the development of characters and stories, while unraveling great secrets. Thus, presenting audiences with the return of characters such as Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield‘s Spider-Men, MCU even confirmed cameos from X-Men characters in Deadpool 3.
Considering Ryan Reynolds’ third installment Deadpool 3 is in progress and set to release in 2024, fans speculate not just X-Men cameos but also MCU’s dip into the multiversal story, in the upcoming movie. Deadpool 3 Is Set To Match The Multiversal Hype
Transitioning into phase 4, MCU found its base for conducting the initial experiment of a multiversal storyline with Doctor Strange. Since the character was introduced as someone who can travel through multiversal realities, the studio found the perfect way of delving into unknown Marvel characters.
Sam Raimi’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, thus introduced the 838-universe Illuminati and provided a fleeting look at a handful of multiversal realities. Hoping to explore more of it, Deadpool 3 is considered to dive into multiversal madness and deliver something epic.
While Ryan Reynolds‘ upcoming movie confirmed dozens of cameos and reported outlandish multiversal realities, it is expected to even topple Multiverse of Madness‘ Illuminati introduction. As the Deadpool franchise is bringing back actors to deliver their X-Men cameos, it is only justified that Deadpool 3 is reportedly set to match the multiversal hype.

Realizing the ambitions promised by the Doctor Strange sequel, Deadpool 3 simply can’t avoid dealing with the multiverse.
