Any gamer worth their salt knows of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, but you would be crazy not to know that Assassin’s Creed Red is the next game coming to the long-running franchise sometime later this year, and some more information regarding said game has now been revealed.
According to some recently divulged information to Insider Gaming, for those who are hoping for the Assassin’s Creed franchise to make a return to the traditional format, similar to Assassin’s Creed Mirage, then you will be partially happy with this news, as the stealth mechanics will be making a return and even being improved upon, but sadly, the combat may not be what you expect.
Assassin’s Creed Red’s Combat Mechanics Will Be Similar to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, but With a Lot Less Restraint
One of the many complaints that gamers have regarding the Assassin’s Creed franchise is the fact that the combat has devolved rather than evolved into a complicated system that requires players to acquire strong gear to compete against the ever-stronger enemies that plague the worlds of some of the newer games.
However, according to the exclusive information provided to Insider Gaming, we may have one final entry using this hated system, but with a few changes. In the most recent games, players have struggled to enjoy the combat as it requires a lot of time and effort for little payout.
Luckily, this seems to be changing in Assassin’s Creed Red, as players will witness a whole new combat system as they take on the role of a samurai, which will bring a whole new combat system with it, but what makes it completely unique is the fact that the combat will be getting even gorier as we will see more realistic reactions to our attacks within the game.
Assassin’s Creed Red Will Be Living up to Its Codename With All the Blood We Will Shed
If you aren’t a fan of gore and severed heads, we do not recommend playing Assassin’s Creed Red, as from the sounds of it, we will constantly be killing enemies in some of the most horrific ways possible, especially when the stealth aspect of the game comes into play.
Since a new engine is being used to develop all of the different Assassin’s Creed games, we can only imagine how detailed these new combat mechanics will be. As it has been described, there will be more gore, including blood, and decapitations in this new installment.
Along with this information, it has also been revealed that stealth will also receive some improvements, as players will be able to use even more tactics and opportunities to murder their targets. Whether you are a fan of the recent combat mechanics or the classic stealth options, this new Assassin’s Creed seems to have it all, and we cannot wait to see more.
