Ubisoft Reveals Its Plans for FY2024-25, Which Include Assassin’s Creed Red

Ubisoft revealed plenty of new information in its 2023-2024 earnings report, and the release window of Assassin’s Creed Red stood out as the highlight of the document. Aside from that, there were some other details regarding games like Valiant Hearts: Coming Home, which is set to make its way to PCs and consoles.

The studio mentioned what it has planned for the fiscal full-year 2024-2025, and in that section, it revealed that it will talk more about the upcoming Japan-set Assassin’s Creed in May later this year.

Since Ubisoft is referring to the fiscal year 2024-2025, this could mean that the highly requested and anticipated Assassin’s Creed Red could be released around March 31 of next year. The studio will also apparently reveal more information about its upcoming Star Wars game, Outlaws, in May 2024, while also announcing some more titles to cater to its “free-to-play” audience.

The upcoming Assassin’s Creed set in Feudal Japan has been subject to plenty of leaks leading up to any sort of official announcements, so Ubisoft itself providing these updates should serve as some sort of hope for fans of the series.

Assassin’s Creed Red was not the only Ubisoft title to get some sort of update through the earnings report, as the studio discussed its other titles as well. In the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2023-2024, which is a period from January to March 2024, Ubisoft has plenty of games scheduled for release.

These include the long-overdue Skull and Bones that will be launched for current-gen consoles and PCs later this month.

Aside from Assassin’s Creed Red‘s release window and Skull and Bones, Ubisoft also revealed that For Honor will be entering its eighth year with its own first season, which will only be available to play on last-gen consoles and PC. The studio’s other title, Riders Republic, has survived for nine seasons, and Season 10 will be launched soon for all major consoles.

It is interesting to note that Skull and Bones is scheduled to enter its first season shortly after its initial launch on February 16, 2024.
