Set in the fictional Moordale Secondary School, the iconic season follows the journey of a socially awkward teenager, Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield), and his friends as they navigate the ups and downs of adolescence, friendships, and s*xual experiences.

The creator of the show confirmed that this was the final season

In July, it was announced that the fourth season of Sex Education would be its last. The creator of the show, Laurie Nunn explained that she was really “proud” of what the season has achieved. In an interview with Netflix, Nunn said,

“It just started to feel very clear that the stories were coming to an end, the characters were being left in a place that I felt really good about it. I felt happy for them, and I felt like I’ve said everything that I want to say with these characters at this time.”

The first season was released on 11 January 2019, and since then the show has managed to garner many nominations and awards. The show also played a significant role in making its main cast a household name around the world.
