Gege Akutami Might Make Another Character The Star of the Battle Against Sukuna.

Despite Hating Gojo, Gege Akutami is Treating Itadori Worse than Any Other Jujutsu Kaisen Character

SUMMARY

  • The war against The King of Curses in Jujutsu Kaisen has been ongoing for a long time.
  • Jujutsu Kaisen's author, Gege Akutami, has drawn out the conflict far too long, and as the series comes to an end, the Sorcerers' options are becoming increasingly limited.

The battle against The King of Curses in Jujutsu Kaisen has been going on for a long time and almost every sorcerer has tried their best to beat Sukuna but everyone has been defeated by his power. Characters like Gojo Satoru, and the protagonist of the series, Yuji Itadori were also incapable of defeating him.

Gege Akutami, the creator of Jujutsu Kaisen has prolonged the battle for far too long and as the series is reaching its conclusion, there are not many options left for the Sorcerers. Looking at the fights, and the story development, Akutami might be preparing for an extreme battle, which might result in the defeat of Sukuna, but for that, he might need someone stronger than Sukuna’s past opponents.

The only character that can prove his worth against the King of the Curses right now is Kinji Hakari, but he is busy in a different battle against Uraume. There is a theory that proves that Hakari might be able to defeat Sukuna, but this would result in him overshadowing the protagonist Yuji Itadori.

Theory States Kinji Hakari Might Be Able to Defeat Sukuna

According to a theory posted by @lightningclare on X(Formerly Twitter), Hakari is the best character suited to handle Sukuna’s Malevolent Kitchen. Uraume revealed that Hakari’s healing powers were greater than those of Ryomen Sukuna and Gojo Satoru. He is one of the most underrated characters in the series.

This meant that his Jackpot talent may provide him a boost in Reverse Cursed Technique, allowing him to have four minutes in full force. In theory, his Domain Expansion could be able to match Sukuna’s sure-hit attacks and take him to the level of the King of the Curses.

Because of his reputation for taking calculated risks in combat, Hakari’s Cursed Technique is a perfect fit for both his fighting style and attitude. That may also come into play in this case because he has demonstrated the ability to make binding vows on the fly and alter the rules of his domain in order to gain the upper hand on Sukuna.

Hakari Defeating Sukuna Might Not Be Good for Yuji Itadori

If the theory is true and Gege Akutami is truly getting ready for the battle between Hakari and Sukuna, this would be a big insult for Yuji Itadori as he is the protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen. Itadori being the main character and the former vessel of Sukuna needs to be the one to defeat him to bring a full circle moment for the Jujutsu Kaisen.

However, looking at the character’s continuous defeat against the King of the Curses, Itadori might not be able to save Megumi, let alone beat Sukuna fully. This has led to the belief that Akutami might be treating Itadori worse than they treated Gojo.

While fans wait for the release of the next chapter, nothing can be said for sure, and as the storyline is going on right now in the series, Itadori might need additional support in beating Sukuna and though Hakari is the best opponent for him, his beating Sukuna and ending the battle will not look good for the protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen.
