With the release of its most recent chapter, Boruto has surpassed One Piece, which had fallen to fourth place. The manga for Boruto concluded its first installment earlier this year and took a lengthy break, probably to allow the author time to work on the thrilling portion of the story. The fans had to endure a difficult and taxing wait, but in the end, it paid off, as the series shot to the top of the rankings.

However, the response to the Two Blue Vortex saga has not created as much buzz as was expected from the Naruto’s sequel spin-off series. Still, it is a pretty big thing as the series rocketed to the top place leaving behind the likes of Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, and One Piece with ease.

Boruto Becomes The Most Viewed Manga

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is the name of the second part of the Boruto manga. This might be compared to the naming of Naruto Shippuden, the second installment of the Naruto anime. About four years have passed since the titanic battle between Kawaki and Boruto in Blue Vortex.

The franchise has experienced a decline in readership since its 2016 launch, but Kishimoto’s choice to depict a time jump appears to have reignited interest in it. Short-time skips are common in shonen manga, and they occur in practically every story; however, in Boruto, the time skip is rather large.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Surpasses One Piece

Given that the manga is released every month, meaning there is more steady anticipation with each chapter release, Boruto has succeeded in surpassing other series. Additionally, it demonstrates how One Piece dropped to fourth place—a very unusual position for this series.

Even though both of the current manga series have pretty interesting stories, Boruto has more viewers than One Piece, placing it at the top of the list. Boruto has maintained a consistent viewership despite the initial fan controversy because it strikes a healthy balance between humor and action.
