Diablo 4, the online role-playing action game by Blizzard, has been mostly successful and has received favorable reviews from critics. The game, however, requires one to slog their way to hack and slash glory. The idea is that the player fights enemies and the stronger they are, the better weapons and equipment the player gets.

Every player wants to level up to level 100 in the game. But it isn’t a cakewalk by any means and requires one to put in the hours consistently. The developers, Blizzard Entertainment, got to work with Season 2 to incentivize players to continue their monster-slaying journey. They even went the extra mile to release a revised roadmap to get to Level 100, 40% faster.

The revelation that it will require 40% less time if one sticks to the roadmap has been made by Joe Shely, the game director of Diablo 4. So, one can be certain that it actually holds value.

Blizzard has understood the qualms of players trying to level up in their top-down hack-and-slash game. The devs specifically mentioned in the Developer Update – October 2023 stream that community feedback was essential to help them come up with the roadmap. From additions like several new bosses as well as every boss having a new loot-list associated with them.

So, there is enough motivation to hunt all of them down. There are even some exclusive items to be collected after you hunt down the new collection of rogues in the game. The main reason behind this, as highlighted by the dev team, is to actually aid players achieve level 100. by making it more achievable. Joe Shely quoted,

“We also want players to be able to get to level 100. It’s a goal that many players set forM themselves, and it should be an achievable goal….”

Shely continued,

“In Season 1, we saw that there were some players getting frustrated. Maybe you get to level 75 and you’re like, ‘I want there to be more things to do, it feels like it slows down.’ We really wanted to smooth that over and make the process of reaching that goal and getting to the end of the season journey feel like an achievable goal for all our players who invest time in the season. And along the way, you’re going to have a lot more cool stuff to do.”

The roadmap unveiled with Season 2 is starkly different from the one that was released with the game launch. Check it out for yourself below.

So, all in all, World Tier 3 and 4 get a revamp for Diablo 4. Varshan and Grigoire, two of the new bosses added in the game, will be faced in World Tier 3 and Tier 4, with the former now dropping unique loot and the latter being a special one-of-a-kind enemy capable of lightning-based strikes capable of frying you to the core.

In Tier 4, you face Varshan and Grigoire, who will both be much more powerful than their Tier 3 selves and will drop loot, which will help you take down Duriel, the level 100 enemy boss. Dropping Unique items and also having a low chance of dropping uber-unique items, defeating him will definitely be worth the sweat.
