Personalities like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ronnie Coleman have made their names in the bodybuilding industry, setting the bar so high that it is nearly impossible to replicate their journeys. While Arnold Schwarzenegger bagged the Mr. Olympia title for 7 years, Ronnie Coleman took the victory home for 8 consecutive years. If that is not inspiring, we don’t know what is.

Bodybuilding has always been the epitome of discipline and hard work, and thanks to this, bodybuilders are often treated with a ton of respect. However, social media personality Andrew Tate aka the Top G does not seem to be a fan of bodybuilders. In a video uploaded on YouTube, the former kickboxing professional is seen calling bodybuilders losers, cowards, and straight-up “p**sies.”

Over some time, Andrew Tate has gained popularity, both negative and positive, for his hot takes on a multitude of topics. Whether it is how to be an “alpha male” or how to adapt to the hustle culture, Tate has some blunt opinions and he is not afraid to vocalize them.

In one of his viral videos, Tate can be seen dissing bodybuilders and calling them “p**sies.” After calling them losers, Tate then clarifies that it is not because bodybuilding is easy. Rather, he calls them losers because in his opinion, while bodybuilders want to be fighters, they don’t have the guts to actually become one.

“Bodybuilders are all p**sies. The reason bodybuilders are losers is not because bodybuilding is easy, bodybuilding is actually extremely hard…The reason bodybuilders are all losers is because they don’t want to be bodybuilders. Every body builder I have ever met wants to be a fighter. But they haven’t got the b*lls to be a fighter. So instead, they think, ‘Well I want to look as mean as possible,’ and then they end up bodybuilding. Bodybuilders are obviously afraid of fighting but they decide to put all their time and effort and energy into the gym to try and make sure no one ever starts a fight on them because they are absolute p**sies.”

Of course, the Internet once again divides itself into two teams where one supports Tate’s opinion and the other believes he does all of this for attention.

While he never specifically mentions Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ronnie Coleman, or any other bodybuilder, you can’t really have a conversation on the topic without thinking about some of the most prominent names in the industry. Were Tate’s words a concealed diss on these legends?

Arnold Schwarzenegger on How Bodybuilding Has Evolved

While everyone is entitled to their own opinions, most of the population is in awe of bodybuilders. Their discipline, their endurance, and the way they value health are just some things people take inspiration from.

Talking to Muscle & Fitness, Arnold Schwarzenegger reflected on how bodybuilding has changed over the years and how it is not just about posing in front of an audience anymore.

“I think that the whole crusade to promote bodybuilding and fitness has clearly been successful. Today, it’s not about seeing a guy pose onstage – it has transcended into so many different areas that you see bodybuilding everywhere. If you look at a billboard, there is a man posing with Calvin Klein underwear; you will see a ripped guy that has been working out like a fanatic.”

Schwarzenegger then talked about how bodybuilding has found its way into all kinds of sports, be it baseball or boxing.

“If you watch professional wrestling and you see these monsters, they are building their bodies from weightlifting. Baseball players are huge. I’ve seen basketball players now for decades who work out for hours and hours in the weight room every day. You see now that their bodies are totally muscular. Boxers, UFC fighters that go into the ring are ripped from working out. You see it in every sport.”

It is not surprising that Tate and Schwarzenegger have opposing views on the subject. Whose team are you on, though? Do you believe bodybuilders are losers?
