Seth Rollins, known for delivering the greatest Money in the Bank cash-in and becoming a celebrated WWE star since his iconic heel-turn in 2014, was poised to make a move to Hollywood. However, recent rumors suggest that this plan might not materialize, something that fans might not like one bit.
Seth Rollins was set to make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Captain America: Brave New World, where he was set to be part of the Serpent Society. He was never going to have a massive role in the flick, but fans were nonetheless excited about The Visionary’s upcoming Hollywood project.
Seth Rollins Might Share Becky Lynch’s Fate Regarding His MCU Aspirations
Fans were gearing up for Seth Rollins to make his Marvel Cinematic Debut in Captain America: Brave New World. After all, Seth Rollins is exceptional when it comes to portraying the bad guy, better known as a heel, in WWE. Therefore fans felt he would be a terrific fit as a member of the Serpent Society.
However, according to CanWeGetSomeToast, the Serpent Society has been entirely removed from Captain America: Brave New World during reshoots. Additional information suggests that the Serpent Society’s scenes in the movie constituted the first significant action sequence featuring Captain America, Falcon, and Isiah Bradley.

However, it is to be noted that the source isn’t necessarily a reliable one, so it should be taken with a grain of salt. This is especially due to the fact that Marvel has yet to make any announcements regarding the Serpent Society being cut from the film entirely.
Nonetheless, this news has made fans worried that Rollins might share the same fate with his wife Becky Lynch, who had her role cut in a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie.
Marvel Studios Axed Becky Lynch’s Post-Credits Scene In Eternals
In case you were not aware, Becky Lynch was supposed to make her Marvel Cinematic Debut in Eternals but it did not happen in the end. According to a report from Fightful Select, a post-credits scene featuring Becky Lynch had been removed from the Eternals movie. Although Lynch had a role in the film, details about her character were not provided by Marvel.
The scene was intended to set up future installments, and sources suggested that Lynch may still reprise her role in the future. The decision to cut the scene was not due to her performance, as Marvel Studios was reportedly satisfied with it. The scene’s removal was attributed to concerns that it was “too depressing,” leaving fans curious about its content and Marvel’s plans for the deleted clip.
Becky Lynch has since gone on to act in shows such as Young Rock and even made a brief cameo in Billions. We will have to wait and see whether the former RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion will eventually make her way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe again, without plans getting scrapped.
