Still, there’s no stop to these upcoming games; the latest upcoming game, Stellar Blade, is once again getting fans hyped.

This third-person hack-and-slash action game is currently all the rage. Fans are indeed pretty excited to slash through a bunch of enemies in this upcoming game. It is being developed by a company called Shift Up, and its protagonist, Eve, is already a hit among gamers. But the game’s director refuses to reveal a crucial detail about this character.

Stellar Blade’s director does not want to reveal Eve’s age

Years ago, Platinum Games and Sega revealed a new video game franchise to the world. It was called Bayonetta, a hack-and-slash series created by none other than the master Hideki Kamiya. He came up with the idea and directed the first game in the series too, and it was no doubt a mind-blowing action game.

It featured a witch named Bayonetta who fought all kinds of monsters and mythical creatures. The combat in that game was fast and brutal. The action was mind-blowing, and the bosses in that game were mammoth. It gave fans a good enough challenge to not feel too easy.

Years later, Nintendo decided to fund the revival of that series with a sequel. Bayonetta 2 was released exclusively for the Wii U and then the Nintendo Switch. Eventually, Kamiya even launched Bayonetta 3 for the Switch. Fans got their beloved series back, but many lost something essential: a multiplatform franchise.

Now, years later, another game called Stellar Blade looks to fill this gap, at least for PlayStation 5 users. The developer using Unreal Engine 4 Stellar Blade looks as good as any other triple-A game out there. And its combat, no doubt, reminds gamers of Devil May Cry and Bayonetta. There’s no doubt there’s a huge shortage of games like these on modern platforms.

But besides its incredible visuals and exciting action-based combat, one more thing that has fans hyped is the main protagonist in Stellar Blade. Eve is as good-looking as a video game protagonist can be; fans cannot help but talk about her all the time. But it looks like the game’s director wants to keep some information about her under the covers.

Recently, when the game’s director, Kim Hyung-tae, was asked by Famitsu about Eve’s age, his answer was pretty interesting. He suggested fans should love the game enough to find out. He said that if fans loved this game enough, they would get an answer in the next game.

So, for those concerned about age, please play and love the current “Stellar Blade” a lot and let’s find out the answer in the next game (laughs).

This is indeed a somewhat dodgy and interesting answer. He seems to really create hype amongst gamers about the age of a female video game character.

But there’s no doubt that this game is going to be a success. And that would definitely lead to a sequel giving fans the answer they want: the age of Eve.

Stellar Blade combat is not what fans might think

Fans who have yet to try that awesome demo of Stellar Blade would be surprised to know that its combat is somewhat different from what they had been expecting. It is in fact a fast-paced Devil May Cry-like game, but with a sprinkle of Sekiro and Metal Gear Solid: Revengeance.

Gamers cannot just attack their enemies relentlessly; they have to block, which is an integral mechanic of the game. One thing that’s in fact, as expected, in Stellar Blade is its visuals; they are mind-blowing.
