Considered to be one of the most all-rounded and complete athletes in combat and entertainment sports history, Brock Lesnar is an invaluable asset to the WWE that has been utilized for several months by the company at this point. After his last match against Cody Rodhes at SummerSlam in 2023, he has not made an appearance for any in-ring action.

But all of that was about to change when he was all set to make his entry in the 2024 Royal Rumble roster, which shockingly was scrapped by the management at the last moment. One of the main reasons for this sudden change is connected to the recent lawsuit that was filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant against Vince McMahon, which has allegedly brought to light Lesnar’s involvement as well.

Through his performances both in the ring and the octagon in the WWE and the UFC, respectively, Brock Lesnar has proved he’s more valuable than most when it comes to combat sports. This was also the reason why the professional wrestling label resigned him back in 2021 to make appearances in the ring.

But since the SummerSlam of 2023, there had been no signs of the fighter in the WWE, only mentions of him returning in the future. And when it was finally time to make his return, he was scrapped from reappearing at the 2024 Royal Rumble. The alleged reason for his absence is connected to the recent lawsuit filed by Janel Grant against former WWE CEO Vince McMahon.

According to Dave Meltzer from Wrestling Observer, the only reason why rising WWE superstar Bron Breakker was part of the 30-man Royal Rumble match was to serve as Lesnar’s replacement due to his alleged involvement in the aforementioned lawsuit by Grant. In light of this, it’s also being reported that the plans that the company had for the athlete at the upcoming WrestleMania are also being thrown out of the window.

Therefore, it seems like till the allegations against McMahon are cleared by the authorities, Lesnar’s return to action will be suspended by a thin thread of doubt and uncertainty or until the pro wrestling label changes its approach.

It’s alleged that the former WWE CEO tried to set up a s*xual encounter between Lesnar and Grant when he was planning to re-sign the star, for which he demanded Grant send explicit photos of herself to the former UFC champion. It was also reported by the WSJ that after McMahon had shared Grant’s number with Lesnar, the fighter asked her to send a video of herself urinating.
