Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales was the last movie of the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. After the 59-year-old actor won the defamation trial, the makers of the movie are trying to bring back Depp in the film series.

Disney says Johnny Depp’s comeback in Pirates of the Caribbean is noncommittal

There have been various fan rumors swirling around the possibility of Johnny Depp reprising his role as Jack Sparrow. Even Depp has not confirmed whether he would appear in the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean film. A recent interview with Disney’s production head has once again confused fans about if makers are moving forward with Depp in the film. 

Disney’s production president Sean Bailey talked about the storyline and also gave people an update about Depp in the film series. While talking about the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean film, Bailey said,

We think we have a really good, exciting story that honors the films that have come before but also has something new to say.”

When Disney president Bailey was asked if Depp will be seen in the movie, he responded by saying it’s “noncommittal at this point.”

Many Depp fans were assuming, as since the Cry-Baby actor was the epicenter of Hollywood after he won the trial, the makers might try to get the actor back in his iconic character.
