My Hero Academia season 7 episode 11 aired on July 20, 2024, and is named, “Light Fades to Rain.” It featured Bakugo Katsuri taking on Tomura Shigaraki. While the other Pro-Heroes were getting overwhelmed by the villain, an injured Bakugo entered the battlefield. He instantly made an impact by using his new ability. His new ability, Cluster, allowed him to store sweat balls and release it from his palm. But it also had a side effect. The stored sweat balls could come out from any part of his body.

He kept up with the villain, which shocked the latter. But soon, the Pro-Hero could feel the toll upon his body. In a moment of desperation, Shigaraki managed to land a powerful blow. Best Jeanist, Eraser Head, and all the Pro-Heroes saw in horror as a bloodied Bakugo lay on the ground, and he was not moving. There was a flashback where he was seen happy to win an All Might card during his childhood. There were also moments when he was embraced by All Might.

Bakugo’s condition left the entire My Hero Academia fandom worried. He is resilient and always finds some way to come out victorious. Even though it was a saddening moment, the fans could not help but praise Studio Bones’ work. The animation exceeded all the expectations. Many commented on social that it was a masterpiece.
