Also, she is particularly known for her good sense of humor. The 32-year-old actress once visited The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in 2018 and drank a few glasses of rum. Despite being there to promote her movie, Red Sparrow, the actress needed a drink of alcohol to be comfortable.

Lawrence sipped a large glass of rum and seemed to calm down considerably. And it was clear from their conversation that she and Stephen Colbert were feeling the effects of the alcohol. In fact, they discussed a variety of things.

Drunk Jennifer Lawrence Once Had a Funny Chat Show Interview

Jennifer Lawrence intended to appear on February 26th, 2018 on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to promote her film, Red Sparrow. Oh, and after five minutes she, of course, decided to remove her shoes. “So, let’s talk about the movie,” the host asked the actress after the two almost talked for ten minutes about everything else.

So, when she discussed Red Sparrow, Lawrence seemed to have a distinctive strategy for persuading listeners to watch her film.

“Red Sparrow is a movie, it’s a psychological spy drama, I’m a woman, but it’s not, like, you know. It’s entertaining. Don’t put any political weight on it. If you’re a ‘typical hater,’ and you have a blog: don’t go. You’re officially, totally uninvited. I would like to officially uninvite all my haters to go see Red Sparrow.”

When the interview was over, she even jokingly remarked to her nephews, if they were watching, “Aunt Jen’s drunk. I feel like I should tell you that.”

Jennifer Lawrence’s Comment On N*Ked Red Sparrow Scenes

Jennifer Lawrence once admitted that filming Red Sparrow’s n*ked scenes was an “actual nightmare”. The actress starred in the spy thriller movie directed by Francis Lawrence, which was based on Jason Matthews’ 2013 novel of the same name.

She has previously spoken openly about how the crew felt “uncomfortable” around her while she was n*de on set. But in a February 26 interview (2018), Lawrence admitted that signing up for the movie in the first place was “really scary” for her because it would require her to shoot scenes while completely n*ked.

The 32-year-old actress told The Today Show in Australia:

“It was really scary to say yes to the movie because I knew the only way to tell the story is if I agreed to really do the scenes and go full Monty. It took a while to say yes – and the night before I didn’t sleep at all and I was obviously really nervous because it is the actual nightmare of standing in front of a classroom n*ked.

But the Passengers actress also added:

“But then after I finished the scene, I felt empowered.”

For the unversed, the movie had a modest box office success, earning $151 million worldwide. Critics also gave it mixed reviews, calling it “more style than substance” and criticizing the length and overuse of graphic violence and s*x. However, Lawrence’s performance was praised.
