Dune: Part Two is winning everyone’s hearts. With a 94% score on Rotten Tomatoes, the Denis Villeneuve-directed movie is performing well among fans. The movie debuts with an astounding $32.1 million gross collection, per Variety. Led by Timothée Chalamet, the sequel to Dune: Part One (2021), sees the return of an ensemble cast including Zendaya as Chani, Javier Bardem as Stilgar, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, and Dave Bautista as Glossu Rabban Harkonnen.
People are very much impressed with Timothée Chalamet’s portrayal and have already started calling it an Oscar-worthy performance. Meanwhile, the other cast featuring Austin Butler as Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, and the inclusion of Anya Taylor-Joy, did wonders in Villeneuve’s visual masterpiece.
Rebecca Ferguson Stole The Show With Her Brilliance
In the star-studded ensemble of Dune: Part Two, Timothée Chalamet shines as the standout luminary. He did a fabulous job playing the role of Paul Atreides. The film is even bigger, bolder, and more beautiful than the first one, and both Chalamet and Zendaya wowed the audience.
However, their performance can’t let the Mission: Impossible actor Rebecca Ferguson‘s masterful portrayal go away, who reprises her role as Lady Jessica, the mother of Timothée Chalamet‘s Paul Atreides in Dune: Part Two. She is just brilliant, offering more to the role with an even more fascinating performance than what she did in the first film.
Even The White Queen actor earlier, in an interview with Collider, stated that Dune: Part One is “nothing compared to number two.” She said:
“I’m smiling so much right now. It’s so f*cking good… But dude, number one is phenomenal and big and grandiose, and then you go close-ups and the imagery and the acting. Yeah, it’s all great. It’s f*cking nothing compared to number two.”
She continued:
“Number two, it’s like a f*cking gut punch. It’s unreal… I wanted to see Austin Butler do what he was doing. It’s unbelievable. There are no words...”
The 40-year-old Swedish star is indeed a talented actor and yet again proved her prowess playing Lady Jessica. In its essence, Ferguson justified her screen time in the movie.

Of course, Ferguson shines in this visual treat by Villeneuve. She had the space for her own narrative in the movie, and she perfected it with so much of ease. Her character is strong and mysterious, and the actor’s eyes elegantly brought every essence of it to the big screen.
