Universal Studios in Japan has previously organized many such premier shows featuring the narratives from Eiichiro Oda’s masterpiece.
These premier shows offer fans iconic live-action experiences of popular One Piece storylines and make them as real as possible. This annual premier show will feature the Gear 5 transformation this year, and fans are all for it. The Gear 5 mode would have taken years before featuring in Netflix’s One Piece live-action series. But Universal Studios bringing the iconic transformation to life has excited the fans as they get a chance to see Luffy use his newfound abilities in real life.
Gear 5 Luffy Causes Frenzy Among Dragon Ball and One Piece Fans
Although both One Piece and Dragon Ball are legendary series, fans have always compared the two to find out which is better. While One Piece has better manga sales and a successful live-action adaptation, Dragon Ball has a better reach with a global audience and a bigger fanbase. Comparing the two series would only cause disputes among fans.
And that’s exactly what happened when the One Piece Premier Show’s news was shared on X. Dragon Ball fans started trolling the animation of the show and pointed out that Akira Toriyama’s masterpiece is more iconic than One Piece.
