However, he may not always win the fight on the first try. It takes him some time to adapt to his enemies and their fighting style and then come up with a technique or move that can defeat them. This is how he developed the infamous Gear forms that saved him from the likes of Rob Lucci, Doflamingo, and even the Strongest Creature in the world, Kaido.

Among all of his battles, preferably the hardest and the most thrilling one as of yet is his fight against Kaido. The fight also gave birth to the Gear fifth form, which opened a whole lot of mysteries in the story. And now, someone has created this thrilling fight in a live-action format and fans are loving it.

Luffy vs. Kaido is Luffy’s Biggest Fight Ever

The fight between Kaido and Luffy was the standout moment of One Piece’s Wano Arc. Before their decisive battle in Onigashima, Luffy and the other fighters engaged in several fights, with each encounter ending in a crushing defeat for Luffy. Kaido, also known as the King of Beasts and the World’s Strongest Creature, was a force of nature and maybe the greatest villain in One Piece.

However, Luffy did not lose hope till the end and ultimately he was saved by his Devil Fruit which was revealed to be Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika and it transformed him into Sun God Nika, thus giving him the ultimate power that not only changed Luffy but also his surroundings making him much stronger than before.

With Gear 5 too Luffy had some difficulties against Kaido as it was his first time fighting using the power. However, after a few tries, he was able to defeat the Emperor of the Sea and won the battle and ultimately the war of Oniganshima. It is truly the biggest moment in Luffy’s life as a Pirate in One Piece.
