Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is now raising the anticipation level day by day. And with the anticipation, fan demands are coming in a flurry. The roster is already going to feature some of the most popular DBZ characters with various power levels.
Likewise, there is another request from a dedicated Dragon Ball fan. Spike Chunsoft has already confirmed that the game will feature playable giant characters. That’s why this fan’s request might become a reality as well.
A Fan Wants Hirudegarn in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero
Recently, a DBZ fan shared a photo of Hirudegarn on Reddit, demanding his inclusion in the Sparking Zero Roster. Hirudegarn is the main antagonist in DBZ: Wrath of the Dragon. This huge Phantom Majin is a ruthless killer to anyone who comes in his way.
This powerful giant consists of two halves, and together they form the full-powered monster. According to Wrath of the Dragon, the upper part is imprisoned by Tapion and the lower half by Hoi. The full-power Hirudegarn is so powerful that not even the Super Saiyan 2 form of Goku couldn’t stop it.
At last, it was Goten and Trunks who performed the Fusion Dance to form Gotenks, who eventually defeated the monster in their Super Saiyan 3 state. The fan on that post wanted to have both halves as singular characters and fantasized about how it would be like to merge both halves in mid-battle.
However, this is not the first time Hirudegarn might feature in a game. The character has already made an appearance in Budokai Tenkaichi 2.
Sparking Zero Will Feature Playable Giant Characters
The wish of this fan is not an unrealistic one. Spike Chunsoft has already confirmed that a lot of giant characters from the fan-favorite franchise will make their way into the upcoming title. During the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2024, a brand new trailer for the game was revealed.
This trailer showed that fans will be able to play many giant characters from Budokai Tenkaichi 3. The trailer also showed the Great Ape Vegeta’s transformation, which made the fans more excited.
However, there is no confirmation of which giant characters are going to make it onto the Sparking Zero roster. But Budokai Tenkaichi characters are probably going to return for sure. So, we can expect to play as Hirudegarn, Janemba, Pilaf Gang, and many more.
