One of the most anticipated games of this year is the new Bandai Namco Budokai Tenkaichi reimagination. Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero will be the definitive version of this franchise, and fans are excited about all the possibilities that this game could have. With more than 120 playable characters from the Akira Toriyama manga and anime, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero will be huge.
Some fans want a particular set of skins or variations for some fighters. These skins will have a different color because they are based on the manga.
Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero fans want something in particular from Akira Toriyama’s manga
After a couple of very average games in the past few years, this very popular anime could finally receive an incredible new game. Bandai Namco is working on Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, also known as Budokai Tenkaichi, which is a reimagination of the franchise that will add things that could probably deliver the best entry in this series of games.
Between all the playable characters and the addition of Dragon Ball Super content, this title could be a big win for Bandai Namco. Some of Reddit’s users are talking about new possibilities for character skins.
Like all manga adaptations, the colors are different in the final version of the anime. Akira Toriyama has the same detail, and fans on Reddit are discussing possible skins with this particular color palette for the characters.
This kind of detail was briefly introduced in the Dragon Ball Super movies and some episodes, with Vegeta using other colors as Goku in the Beerus training. The studio behind the game is aiming to make a massive release with tons of content and LDCs, so this could be very possible.
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero could be the biggest game ever, based on this anime
This could be the definitive Dragon Ball experience. Dragon Ball: Kakarot and Xenoverse were not the best titles based on this franchise, so there is a lot of room for improvement. Dragon Ball Super will be a big addition to the Budokai Tenkaichi saga, with new and more powerful fighters like Jiren or even Beerus.
Spike Chunsoft is the studio behind the game, and it is very aware of the legacy of this series of games. Bandai Namco is putting all its faith in this project, especially with no other big release like Elden Ring in the near future. Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero could have incredible sales.
Tell us what you think about these possible variations for character skins. Have you read the Dragon Ball Super manga?
