The upcoming Dragon Ball title Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero has been the talk of the town among the community that has been looking for a game to the standards that Sparking Zero seems to be at. The game will bring back the iconic gameplay of the Budokai Tenkaichi series, and players are more than excited.
What’s more amazing is that the game claims that there will be 164 characters at launch, and the first 24 characters have already been confirmed, which makes for an amazing fighting experience. A player has now spotted a small detail that hints at the game bringing a franchise-first feature, and it could be a major addition if true.
Fan Spots a Tiny but Major Detail in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero
The latest issue of V-Jump scans features more than two pages of in-game scans of the upcoming title and showcases several characters that will be coming to the game as part of the “power and speed” moniker, including some surprising ones that made their debut in the Tournament of Power.
While players were happy seeing this, a fan noticed something that seemed like three characters—Burter, Toppo, and Jiece are in the same fight. The player alleged that it could mean that players may be able to have more than two characters fight each other simultaneously, saying, “That would be awesome; imagine the possibilities.”

The player added that Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero may have a Tournament of Power mode, which would be truly amazing for players. Moreover, the game allowing more than two characters to fight would be a franchise first feature and could shape how the franchise goes forward. Obviously, this is just speculation now, but it could be a major change for the franchise as well as the fans.
What Characters Are Confirmed With the Latest V-Jump Scan?
The latest scan confirmed a ton of characters for the game, including Master Roshi, Hit, Dypso, Toppo, Kefla, Ascended Trunks, Nappa, Burter, Jeice, and several others. One of the main additions is the Ultra Instinct Sign Goku, who is seemingly fighting Kefla in the scans and is featured under the power moniker.
Toppo and Dyspo are from Universe 11, where they went against Ginyu Force members Burter and Jeice. Kakunsa from Universe 2 is also featured, and Master Roshi is seemingly based on his appearance in Resurrection F and Super Form.
The last trailer for the game confirmed that several playable forms of Goku and Vegeta would be coming, as well as some giant characters, just like Budokai Tenkaichi 3. It is also speculated that the game would feature non-canonical events from movies, and all this has got fans excited as the game shapes up to be one of the best in the franchise in recent times.
