Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is giving a new definition to the term ‘cinematic’ gaming-wise. The game isn’t on the market, but some got their hands on the demo recently. Now the internet is flooding with clips, and fans can’t get over it. This is certainly going to be a phenomenon when it finally drops this October.
A game streamer recently took to the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) one battle from the game featuring the popular rivals, Goku and Vegeta. From the looks of it, the game certainly feels like watching an episode of anime, like in the good old days.
That Already Feels Like Watching Anime of The Screen
Though Dragon Ball moved past the World Martial Arts Tournament, and it’s certainly a smaller arena in contrast to the Tournament of Power, the former still holds a special place in the hearts of fans. After watching this latest clip shared on X, we are pretty sure that fans know they are in for a treat.
A video game streamer, SeeReax, posted this battle between Goku and Vegeta, where only the hardcore fans can tell it’s a video game.
As Vegeta and Goku charge themselves up, the latter is the first to make the move as he manifests a Spirit Bomb and the sky turns grey. It’s really a sight to behold and shows how developers have paid attention to even the tiniest details.
And that’s not even the beginning of what follows. Upon witnessing the Spirit Bomb, the World Martial Arts Tournament Announcer (it is sad he doesn’t have a name yet) made it public that it was time to get out of the arena. The crowd intelligently follows the instructions, and the arena is emptied within a blink of an eye.
Fan Reaction Speaks Volume About Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero
As Goku goes Super Saiyan Blue, Vegeta too turns the energy up a notch and turns into Super Saiyan God. And that’s where things are heated up. Goku even breaks the bounds, taking the fight out of the arena and into the city.
Fans can’t wait to play this game, as was clear in the comments that followed. User blakzak loved how the crowd left the stadium.
Another user appeared too excited for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero. Pbl Gaming appears to be preparing to stay indoors when it arrives.
As such interesting details goes into the game, it appears like Dragon Ball universe got another fan to their list after this user, dubbed Jordan Westra, witnessed the clip.
Fans are already calling Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero the best game in the series to date. Given what is to follow when it finally hits the shelves, it may become the greatest Dragon Ball game of all time.
