Not all the characters in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero were expected by the fans to show up in the latest trailer for the game. But that might not be true for a few hardcore ones who are keeping an eye on the words circling the internet. Among the few characters, there is one who has not been featured in the past.
The latest trailer for the game themed ‘Sword vs. Fists’ sees Universe 3’s Agnilasa making his official debut in fighting games featuring in the Dragon Ball universe. Players have seen him appear in the Universal Conflict Saga in Dragon Ball Heroes.
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Debuts Agnilasa to The Arena
At the latest, fans were seen drooling over Goku Black’s Super Saiyan Rose transformation in Sparking Zero‘s trailer. Many showed up but Universe 3’s Agnilasa was something to cheer for, as he is coming out of the cards and making his official debut in a DBZ fighting game.
In one conversation on social network Reddit, a user named MetalGamer95 put forth a post describing why he wasn’t surprised that the character was included in the trailer.
It wasn’t just that. He also believes there are more characters from Tournament of Power that haven’t been included in the fighting games, resonating with the series that came before.
Searching-For-Home thinks he was the most probable character from the Tournament of Power arc to make the appearance.
He’s also one of the strongest characters to have made an appearance in the Tournament of Power arc. One user, Puzzled_Worldliness5, shared the screenshot to prove what kind of power it took to eliminate Agnilasa.
He dominated Universe 7 fighters, including True Golden Frieza, Super Saiyan Blue Goku, Ultimate Gohan, and more, until his power core was damaged with a joint effort and the gallantry of Android 17.
Maybe Fans Will Get to Recreate The Scene in The Game
It’s not just the characters that made their appearance after years of the anime’s debut on TV; Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero may include some classic ones too. It would be a sight to behold for many if a battle royale-esque mode made it to the game.
And if that happens, maybe fans would want to recreate the scene from Tournament of Power where Universe 7 fighters defeated him. He was the second opponent in the arc, where all the on-stage Universe 7 fighters were up against him simultaneously other than Jiren.
Bandai Namco might not be done just yet with the trailers and now it’s time again to make predictions for the upcoming revelations in the game.
