One of the main features of Budokai Tenkaichi 2 was its directional blocking feature that allowed players to block not only top-to-bottom attacks but also left-right ones. While this feature is a welcome addition for single-player campaigns, it is going to cause a lot of grief in PvP combat.

The Dragon Ball community joined in the discussion soon and everybody was of the same opinion that PvP combat is going to be full of trolls due to this feature. The comments on this post signaled that quite a few players are relishing the prospect of trolling opponents using this feature.

This player was not the only one as quite a few others openly expressed their desire to troll using the blocking feature in PvP combat. And one cannot blame them. The game has been in the works for quite some time and fans are raring to have a go.

Directional blocking not only increases trolling but is also pretty useful in protecting oneself from incoming attacks. We can expect players to spam blocks just to frustrate opponents into throwing the fight.

However, some fans were not so easily convinced. They cited the lack of official updates regarding this matter. And it is fairly easy to pin all of it as a conjecture of some over-enthusiastic fans. But, the developers have already added 4 brand-new features. So, the directional blocking feature also has a good probability of making it to the game.

From the beginning of 2024, fans have been eagerly waiting for news and updates regarding the game. originally slated for a summer release, the game has now been pushed back to a fourth-quarter release. This usually spells doom for the game’s popularity as fans get frustrated.

Even Akira Toriyama’s final work, Sand Land, failed to keep fan demands for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero in check. Despite the game being a good entry, fans seemingly are only looking forward to the fourth installment of the Budokai Tenkaichi franchise.

We are still waiting for Bandai Namco to announce of specific release date. Fans all over are fervently hoping that the game isn’t delayed any more than it already has been.

I travel. I game. I write. In no strict order.

The single biggest lie told all around is, "It isn't that simple." It is simple, everything is. And that is what I emulate in my writing. No unnecessary jargons and no flamboyant flourish. Just what's needed to get your imagination going. After all mind has no limit, unlike the written word.
