Masako Nozawa has been a part of the entertainment industry since the 1960s, and she isn’t planning on stopping anytime soon. Not only has she given her voice to multiple fan-favorite Dragon Ball characters like Goku, Gohan, and Goten for decades, but she has also worked on numerous other animes including Doraemon and even One Piece.

Even at the age of 87, the actress cum narrator still voices and oversees the voices of the Dragon Ball characters—something that fans have evidently fallen in love with over the years that they have heard her voice on the big screen.

What’s more, is that Nozawa has no intention of ending her career anytime soon despite nearing her 90s. While taking the stage at the 71st Kan Kikuchi Prize Awards on the 1st of December 2023, the legendary voice actor echoed the same thoughts as she declared how she intends to continue her career until she’s 182, if she lives until then.
