P. Diddy has won a lot of hearts with his music, true, but the controversy surrounding him as of late seems to have reduced his respect in the entertainment industry to a considerable extent. And among the multiple other celebrities who took a subtle dig at him following this heap of controversy, singer-songwriter Kesha seems to have joined the ensemble.
However, her dig wasn’t as subtle as the rest of the celebrities. Instead, the 37-year-old fan-favorite singer went all in to humiliatingly call out the 54-year-old rapper during a recent surprise appearance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival by changing the lyrics of her iconic song TiK ToK to something that has been gaining her massive approval and support from fans ever since!
P. Diddy Faced Public Humiliation by Kesha at Coachella
Recently, the Die Young singer (real name Kesha Rose Sebert) gave a surprise performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2024 alongside Reneé Rapp. During this, the pair sang and vibed together to the 37-year-old singer’s superhit song, TiK ToK.
But this performance was a lot different than the original song, for this one included a public humiliation for P. Diddy (aka Sean Combs). How? Well, because Sebert simply changed the lyrics that held Combs’ praise to something that was instead a slap on his face.
As fans already know, the very first line of this iconic song from her album Animal was: “Wake up in the mornin’ feelin’ like P Diddy.” But rather than singing these original lyrics, she seemingly improvised as she sang instead:
“Wake up in the morning like, ‘F— P Diddy!'”
Needless to mention, this embarrassing change of lyrics has only further increased for Combs the controversy that was already surrounding him, with a ton of fans approving and backing up the Cannibal singer for this bold move of hers.
Truly enough, Diddy used to be one of the most loved celebrities in the entire entertainment industry because of his incredibly unparalleled rapping skills. But ever since late last year, he has been the epitome of backlash in the entertainment industry.
This happened after the serious series of allegations the 54-year-old rapper, record producer, and record executive faced through multiple civil lawsuits charging him with some brutal accusations of s-x trafficking, s-xual abuse, and r-pe (as per Independent).
Yet, while this newest dig at him only adds to the dishonor of Combs publicly, Kesha, on the other hand, seems to have gained massive fan support for the same.

Following her and Rapp’s remarkable performance at the music festival, @PopCrave on X took to the platform to share the excerpt of the Backstabber singer singing these very changed lyrics.

Since this song previously and originally held indirect praise for Diddy that would have made him proud, now these changes in the lyrics are inevitably eating away at the praise and establishing further humiliation for the rapper.
Well, in Kesha’s defense, she couldn’t sing the original lyrics unless she wished to be another victim of the massive fan backlash. That being said, in her praise, these new lyrics seem to be sitting perfectly well with fans.
The question here is: Just how many more people will continue to cook P. Diddy like this?
